Most web sites collect some sort of information
about their visitors in order to gather statistics about how many
visitors they get each month, what are the most and least popular pages
on the web site, where there may be problems in serving certain pages to
visitors, etc. In an effort to answer questions such as these,
Cognihance also collects certain basic information about its visitors.
Please note, however, that Cognihance has no interest in personally
identifying its users, and do so only as a necessity when customers
place an order with us. Even then, we NEVER (and I repeat; we NEVER)
sell, rent, distribute, or otherwise share your personal information
with anyone under any circumstance.
We are just like you; we like to shop online for a variety of products,
and the last thing we need are plies of junk mail showing up in our
mailbox and our Inbox, so we would never want to inflict that on anyone
else.
The only thins we use your information for is to send off your package.
Unless you specifically request it, we won't even send you a newsletter
or a print catalog unless you check the little box on checkout, stating
that you'd like to be added to our mailing list.
Even that mailing list is strictly an internal list on a secure server,
untouchable and not for sale at any price.
What information does Cognihance collect about its visitors? Each time
someone visits the site, our web server logs the IP address of the
visitor's computer and/or Internet service provider, the domain name and
country of origin of that computer, its operating system, and the type
of web browser being used.
